HI all, found this roll hunting a few years back and was messing around with picture taking today so figured I post for thoughts and or opinions. Is it a "woody"? Thoughts on grade?

Thanks.

Looks to be a woody... nice and red though, so not as distinct.

If you are looking to get opinions on grade... you should post to the grading forum. But I am sure they will move it over for you...

Also, better pics would help on grading... if it has some shine, you want you're images to catch the luster, for best opinions...

Very nice Woody! As far as grading goes, we'll need better pictures to determine the grade accurately.

Here's different ligniting. Unfortunately it's night time now and I've got LED lighting for now. Hopefully it helps but for sure things look "blue" in the pictures.it's not Red,I'd call it a red brown because of the streaking. It does have luster, a couple small back spots one on front one on back, I dunno I've just called it AU based on the beard not being like fantastic. The wheat grains are all present tie is distinct, Always considered it as a high AU RB that might get a + for eye appeal even though those two spots...

It might grade MS. I wondered about the first image on the cheek there appear to be a flattening there, but the last images show it looks mint state. It is probably more red than the last images? The mark on the reverse looks like feeder finger damage. So it probably won't be a deduction on the grade. Just a few sneeze droplets on the reverse. So it would be one to have graded.

It looks MS to me, as well, from the pics. I would guess RB.

I'll take it to work with me tomorrow and try to take pictures at lunch with natural light. Maybe get a better result than either of these. Neither ones show its right coloration.

Here's images from work now that I have some sun, from 2 different locations and lighting. I think the 2nd set of front and back pictures best represents the coin. And the best pics I could take of it. Thanks.

Bumped hoping the new pictures I added would generate some more opinions. It fell down the list considerably in the last few hours.
Thanks

This is really tough to analyze. I'll say 63BN or possibly RB, with the woody effect detracting from the eye appeal. You don't see many woodies in high grade holders.

Not sure I would call it a woody but it looks like a nice coin. It is close to Brown and might still make Red-Brown for now so MS63RB.

It's a woody I'm sure (what else would you call it?), but I don't think collectors trying to put together an MS Lincoln set would have any interest in this, or any other woody to be honest.

I'd say MS-64.
