That Oregon piece is very interesting. I like their inspiration from the Oregon Trail commem.

An interesting Doris Day piece of numismatic trivia:

California State Numismatic Association (CSNA) Convention 1969 Medal
Brass, 38 mm, 20.87 gm

The CSNA convention was hosted at the Cabana Hotel in Palo Alto which was owned by Doris Day at the time.
Doris Day's husband managed her finances and bought the hotel with her money.
Supposedly when she saw it, she said that it was the ugliest thing that she had ever seen.
