I think it makes EF-40. Lincoln's coat is exceptionally well-detailed. There is some slight damage to the letters "OD" in GOD that might downgrade it a tad. Otherwise, a nice example of this semi-key.

Top of ear worn too much for EF, I'd say VF-30, also

I graded this coin EF45.

The obverse die is slightly worn on the portrait high points. If you look at the hair above and behind the ear (the middle of the head), the detail loss gives that away. Also, the obverse high point wear is inconsistent with the rest of the coin. The coin is very well struck with just a hair of right side weakness that is typical for the series....note the last T in TRUST.

The reverse has full wheat lines with no rubs. The seeds on the right side wheat show the typical right sided weakness inherent to the series. The left side seeds are near AU quality. The left rear of this coin is the easiest place to determine wear. It's free of die wear issues and right side strike issues.

Another factor on this coin is the strength of the O in ONE. Many of this issue have a weak O (typical on many Lincolns). This coin does not. We also have consider how "clean" the coin is. There are no major hits, which can quickly take points away. The rim is also clean and the coin well centered.

Thanks for reading....that's a lot more than I originally intended to write.
