Hmm, even with your description, I'm not seeing a die crack. I lots of little nicks from circulation wear, but nothing linear of any significant length other than the scratch on the bottom of George's hair braid.

Ok then with this pic, I really only see the part on his braid. It looks to me like a scratch on the surface of the coin with the "trough" inferior and the piled up metal superior. Any chance of you posting a brighter pic of the bottom of George's neck so that we can see the rest of it a little better? Thx.

Looks like a die crack to me,almost a pre-cud.
