Hi
Found this coin today
Gold color bumps in reverse - protrude off coin surface by about millimeter
Has anyone seen similar?
Thx

Interesting... I wonder if it's been mounted at some stage as a piece of jewellery. It looks as if there could be traces of gilding on the obverse. Perhaps it was soldered into a ring to look like a half-sovereign?

I would go for the cufflink. I have seen many coins made into these in the past by soldering a tag onto one side. I guess someone has cut your tag off to try to restore it to coindom!
