Found this in a bag of dealer album punch outs just now. Rather a bit better than the last one that was polished, but still covered in fingerprint oil. I hate to use acetone, but this seems like a candidate.

Nice find. Before and after pics with the acetone. Don't expect much.Fingerprints are forever unless you use acetone right after you put prints on a coin.

The worse thing about finger prints, it not the oil, but the salt in the perspiration that is in the finger prints. I'd leave it alone. Put it in a 2X2. Seems like a MDS example. The dies did a full on these,as they are found even in the later die states:

Nice pull! I still haven't been able to find or pick one of those. I found a DDO-002 in pocket change, but no die 1 yet. Congrats!

Thanks for all the great comments! I think I'll just leave it as is and if whoever ends up with it down the road wants to tinker then that's all good too. It's not an upgrade for me so just trade material that will find a good home at some point.
