I have a couple of these 1982 D LMC and coppercoins has one similar but the mintmark is in the wrong place. Looks like class VI doubling but thought I would throw this on the board to hear your thoughts.

I'm honestly not seeing the pickup points that I would expect to see for a class VI. Tail of the 9 , middle curve of the S. I'll also be honest in that the one that Bob has listed may well have slipped my notice had it passed under my glass.

I'm not seeing it either. Notching and separation should be at least slightly visible, and the letters should not look flattened or weakened. I found WDDO-001 a while ago and I remember the notching on the R was pretty noticeable. I think your coin has a slightly weak strike and a bit of Die Deterioration.

This is a nice Cent. I'd keep it for its condition if you don't have one yet

I have a few of the cents from the 80's that the plating look like glass. No plating bubbles, they are all VEDS coins. A couple I feel may be from first strikes.

Hey Rookie, take a look at those black spots..over time they'll just get larger and the reverse steps or lack of them...shows LDS (late die stage)...just a little info for you to look for on future finds...
