Today I was excited to find this hard times token at a depth of over 4" at an old farmhouse I have been given permission to hunt. Happy to see it may be one of the rarer editions.

WOW! That is in good condition! Most of my finds at that depth are corroded except for silver coins and jewelry I've found! No gold coins yet but their coming! Awesome dude!

Joecoin....I use a Spectra V3 for coin and jewelry collecting in abandoned schools yards, old homesteads (a lot of them here in New Mexico and public parks and I use a Minelab 4500 I bought years ago for Gold nuggets! The 4500 can detect a Pea size little nugget 2 - 2 1/2 feet down but guess what, that's a 3-4 hour dig especially if it's in bed rock Or really rocky terrain which is what we have here in New Mexico! I've found a few really nice nuggets her in NM and Arizona and Nevada! Getting a bit too old to do all that digging but my boys are my armadillos now, jajajaja!
