I came across this while coin roll hunting. I am not exactly sure what this is, is it a die crack? I have come across some smaller ones, but I have never seen anything that big. Is it common to see large 'die cracks'?
Thanks.

Die chips. Big ones. They progress as the die is continued to be used:

Very interesting! The location in your
image appears to be the same as mine. Why is that? just chance or typical location?

That is a typical location for die chips/breaks like this. They are informally called "hornets nests."
