Or is it a rolled over Rim Fin?

Hey guys, clear this up for me,I thought rim fins happened with a MAD strike. Or can they also be on a coin with a normal strike?

Hello everyone, looks like it's a rim Cud, Mr. Stevens took a look and it's been listed, CU-1c-1982-73.

@ctt, ok thats good to know--thanks for following up.

@gf, I hadn't heard that rim fins only occurred with MADs. Maybe @coop or someone can weigh in on this without completely hijacking this thread?

My guess, a very slight Cud. The outer rim looks untouched, and I see no evidence of a fin above or below the Cud. If indeed the coin did have a fin, I feel that fin would be between Lincolns nose, and around to the edge of Lincolns shoulder. I see none.

I have a boatload of 1982 LMC that I decided to go through and see what I could find.
The 5th coin in I found this. My opinion an indication of a early Cud forming, and in the exact same location as Coin The Term.
I plan to spend some time in the next couple days going through them to maybe find a die marker.

ALSO CHECK OUT THE TAIL ON THE 2 IN THE DATE, just looks odd.
