No change would put it as a "struck through" error cent...keeper..

So, if it is Struck Through Debris, is the "debris" retained on the coin?

What could the "debris" be?

Would it be worth sending to NGC or PCGS to have it determined officially?

Those are die chips on column 11 and 12. These are common on memorial cents. So common they can't be used often as they happened so often.
