1966 Jefferson Nickel- Post Mint Damage?

I found this nickel with deep looking cuts on the adverse and reverse. I assume that it is post mint damage. Can anyone confirm if it is post mint damage?

Damage turns the coin into a cull coin. Just face value now. This didn't happen a the mint.
