Hello everyone. I came across this quarter 1967 with a punch mark on the front then when I flipped it over, there's errors on the back. What do you all think and is it worth anything more than face value?

Your coin suffers from PMD (post mint damage).

Most likely it is due to being damaged by a coin counting machine or a coin rolling machine.

Value is 25 cents.

It is all post-mint damage. It's a spender.

sorry but I must agree with the earlier replies. It was damaged after it left the mint.

Looks like someone altered the reverse with a bottle cap, squeezed onto the coin. (Not the twist off type of lid) Spendable. Even the damage to the obverse would ruin the value of a coin. Turning it into a cull coin. If it were a variety coin, the value would drop by as much as 90%. (Even a bad cleaning job could cost you this much also)

More likely something like a hole saw. Where do you get a bottle cap that small. A quarter will fit inside a bottle cap for a coke or beer bottle.

That's a lot of teeth for a hole saw that small. I suspect it got stuck in some machinery of some kind.
