Hello all,

Found just before the new year.
This is my second one. The first 1983D LMC FS-101 was traded for a 1994 LMC rotated 165 degrees.

Thanks tropicalbats

I was regretting trading the first one because after a while, I was thinking I wouldn't find this second one.

Hello Jim0815,

Dang I just got it! And I don't think I can find a third.

But if I do find a third, I would be more then happy to trade.

Good luck on the CRHs and HappyNewYear

Very nice find! A rare one for sure. High on my 'to find' list but low on the 'possibility of finding it' list.

Thanks GrapeCollects,

I checked out CPG and it is listed as a URS-4 (equates it to 5 to 8 pieces).

PCGS-3
NGC-0

hmmm and I found 2 of these? Maybe I should check ebay...

Darn hard to find in MS, although circs come up now and then. Mine is ANACS MS63 RED so I looked at the pop and it is listed at 2/6 with only 6 total in any grade slabbed by ANACS. I have another one maybe UNC-details but didn't pull it out to really check.

That is an awesome find!! I have a few rare coins like this and I wonder if collectors have them and just don't send them to TPG because they aren't commonly sold?

@Willburton, I think that is the case with a lot of nice varieties. It's always tough to find a good value range for these types as well since so little are sold.

You guys talked me into it. I'm going to get a box of pennies tomorrow . Haven't gotten one in four months or so. The last one was good!

I don't get it! How is that a DDO? Nothing else is doubled. Just the ear lobe is elongated. Wouldn't that be caused by a die chip? It's a nice find. Hard to catch. I am only questioning the validity of the listing.
