1968 D LMC...double Strike?

It seems like alot of time for a coin to go through circulation with an error for someone not to snag it. It's the only reason I'm unsure, in person (never know how my pictures translate) I can make out writing that curves like the Motto right off Lincoln forehead. If it was an error is double strike the correct term?

But it is a normal strike. Business strike cents only struck once 99.99% of the time. You looks like a cup holder find form a car that has probably been off the road a long time. Spendable.
