this is my 1st time hunting dollar coins (quite tedious), I think I found an example of the "wounded eagle".

Is this worth grading, EBAYing or saving? I'm not particular on dollar coins, but this has me stoked (if I'm right)

So being naive, I hear alot of "newcomers" think that their coin "is the one!". I try to stay humble and pragmatic, so saying that, I'm curious if I should have it graded by NGC, or just put it in a 2x2?
Opinions and suggestions would be appreciated

Nice find and whole pixs (obverse and reverse) would be needed to determine grade. However judging from the rim ding (if mine) I would just 2x2 it and save. In your case 2x2 and maybe sell (eBay) pending on what costs are involved, then again you're into it for one dollar..

Looks like it would not be worth grading in that condition. Here are the prices they mentioned for the higher grades MS-68-63
MS-68 = $5K
MS+67 = $1.750K
MS+66 = $475.00
MS+65 = $400.00
MS+64 = $300.00
MS+63 = $260.00
Below that doesn't show a price for graded examples.

It is what you thought. Nice find. 2x2 worthy, and might be able to sell on the bay but because of all the damage not slabable.
