Can anyone give me some advice on finding the vertical points on a coin.trying to align the coin to determine the degrees of off center.
Any comments at this stage would be grateful.

Off center becomes significantly valuable as an error
when some of the design is missing.

I have usually re circulated any that is coin slightly off center, but where all of the design both sides is complete,
unless there is some other error as well, such as partially missing edge milling.

Are you referring to rotation degrees due to a rotated die?

The 50c piece should tell you what the vertical points of the various portraits of the Queen are as its design is aligned to the 12 sides.

You measure the Diameter of the coin. Break it down to 10 equal measurements-10%-20% and so on. You can also cut the tens down to fives....
