Hello everyone,
I am hoping someone might be able to tell me if I have found a treasure here ir not. It came through my cash register, so someone spent it, and it caught my attention mainly due to its condition. Once I realised the serial number starts with "AI01" so I'm assuming that means it is from an early print run in 2001.

Any info would be muchly appreciated. I am looking after it just incase its more than just cool to look at

Collectable but not that rare as the Prefix of AA is normally collected and the last prefix is also collected to complete the set for the year.
Still if note is is better than EF condition (no more than a single crease) then it worth above face value, if fully uncirculated that note normally retail about 15-20 dollars.

Hey Paul1, thanks for the lovely warm welcome :)
And to ryurazu, thank you so much for that. It hasnt got any creases (hence I thaught it was fake haha) I will stash it away in a ziplock bag then. Id rather swap it for a house but I will just have to keep trying I guess :)

Stay well everyone. Scary times :/

Nice find "Slowturkey" (great to get an early generation first prefix for face value). Welcome to CCF!

There is nothing special about this note. Can pick them up quite easily in strict UNC. Probably wouldn't even buy you a small lego house.
