I do know the dates rubbed off of these Indian Head Nickels because they were raised so high.. & the date range I believe is before 1942 & after 1900.. but that is about all I know about it.. any info, any one!! Would be greatly appreciated.. thanks in advance!!

1913-1937. Type 2 nickels had the buffalo on the plane. On the type 1 there was the buffalo on the mound. So your coin is a type 2:
