So can anyone identify the coins depicted? Look to be foreign types perhaps.

In particular, the coin immediately right of the saucer (if that's a coin) looks bimetallic, which shouldn't have been possible in 1947. |

Our Family shopped at an A&P Grocery Store in the 70's.
That ad is too funny.
My dad was a coin collector though..
Center top coin 2nd drawer down looks like a Turkish coin.

Tacc, our neighborhood had an A&P on one corner, a dime store and gas station on two others, while the fourth has been an empty lot since the '50s. We frequented all three. Quote:
