Solids are much rarer serial numbers. It cost much more money for collectors to collect. The question is: I see the solid 8's was sold at higer price than any other solid numbers. Does it mean solid 8's is the most valuable serial number among them? In western world, number 666 is regarded as a devil number. Is solid 6's is the least valuable serial number? As I know, in China, people don't like solid 4's because number 4 has the same pronunciation as that of the word death. If we need to put these solid numbers in the order, from the most valuable to the least valuable. Which is number 1? Which is number 2? .......Which is the last?

777 is seen as lucky number in the Western countries. Do you think we should put solid 7's in the first place?

To over-simplify a bit, not all series of US paper money are printed to their full capacity - for various reasons, that leaves solid 8's as normally the scarcest combination among modern small notes. Other factors (series date, denomination, condition) play an important role as well.

Solid 9's would fetch more than any other solid number.
