someone did this at home, it didn't come from the mint that way. the digits on the edge of the coin look like they were done with a dremil tool. as for value , that is up to you and the person who wants to buy it. the numbers are probably 1-9 , for Covid 19, even though they are in the wrong order.

Sell it to your friend for $1.00. That's what friends are for. Coin collectors would consider it a novelty/ damaged coin.
If that sort of thing interested me, I would consider making one for myself, although I would do a better job with the numbers.

I admire the creativity. Where did he/she find a 2020? I have yet too.

I've had a 2020 in my change here in BC, but she didn't have a mask... That's one for the odds and ends collection for sure!

Interesting. I'd like to do up a short piece/article for a newsletter, but can't send you an email because you're both new members. Can I get permission to use your images?

I'm glad I never buckled and sold this. No hard feelings between me and my friend even though I wrote on here I'd sell it to him.. This is like finding a long lost cousin seeing the same coin. every time I show someone they can't believe it and laugh a couple people I've showed have asked if I'd sell it too I never will.
To the person asking to use pictures yes you can but I have to credit my wife for showing me how to take a close up picture I never knew how to focus on a phone until she showed me. *** Private information removed by Staff. Please do not post your name/address/email/phone number etc. ***

Hi jacecol, you might have noticed that CCF staff has removed your personal information. I'll pass what you had originally written on to chequer (whom is the RCNA editor for the online newsletter NumisNotes).

This will go in NumisNotes, which is a national newsletter, so RCNA members in Winnipeg can keep an eye out. If you want any further information, feel free to let me know and I'll drop a note.
