Many modern day made fakes of Chinese twenty cent coins look very good in hand at first glance. But not this one. Yes it has one common feature in that the English side has Manchurian Provinces while the Chinese side has Shansi Province, but check out how badly the English lettering was made compared to what it should look like.

Yes, and in another case I describe a coin as "childish" Or "cartoon-like".
However, this is true, that in some cases perhaps Fengtien or Kirin, the work was so poor that Kann described them as "childish".

It's interesting to see the interpretation of the English lettering. It reminds me of a video on YouTube demonstrating how English sounds to non-English speakers.
