Are these two errors example of die cracks?

those look like they came from die chips, die cracks usually present as thin, raised lines

I always call these die chips/breaks "bugs in the wheat"

Chips and breaks. When enough of the die material chips away from the die, then you see the term break as it is not the first of the chips falling away from the die. But after several, then they are designated as a break.
