IMO this coin makes VG for detail but unfortunately has some problems. There are moderate digs on Liberty and at the back of Washington's head. I suspect the motto has been damaged somehow. It should not be so weak given the overall level of wear. This coin also appears to have been cleaned, and not very gently.

There are many fakes of this date and some of them grade even lower than VG. I can't tell if this one is authentic, but I'd give the mintmark a close inspection. It's possible it is an "added mintmark" alteration. You gotta be careful with this date!
