I had noticed for a while that coins in my set were either lacking photos entirely or had pretty bad ones, so this week I took the time to update them, and the set in general. This set is reflective of my current set, except the fact that I no longer own the Barber quarter and Bust half dime (they just weren't the quality I was looking for). If you haven't seen my set in it's entirety before, now you can with much better pics!
I have never collected details coin, and still haven't. I know the seller I bought this from very well and bought this coin raw originally. I can say NGC has been very tough on color as of the last few months. I sent half a dozen toners to them in one submission and all got AT, then all went to PCGS and straight graded so....
You have some gorgeous cents in your collection! Love the 1865 2C MS64RB It's pretty close to full RD I would guess. What is the objective of this set? I noticed many Mint State coins and Proofs, but several VF as well?
Quote: I can't believe how many points the Bicentennial Proof Quarter gets.
Neither can I. I actually have an MS-68 business strike silver, but that's worth 300pnts and cost me $90. The proof cost me $10 and is worth more points than my seated half and morgan combined! Might as well take the free points.
Quote: Impressive set for sure!

Thanks guys!

The goal is anything Capped Bust or later in Mint State. All Draped Bust in VF and undecided on the flowing hair. The set will be MS only, no proofs, and the few proofs in here have already been phased out or will be. However a few coins are proof only (the 1992-date silver for example) so those will stay.
My favorite was the draped bust half amidst all those beautiful coins. ( Cause I don't have one )
Draped Bust Heraldic Eagle is my single favorite US design, period. I think one day my goal is to own a mint state bust half and a VF to EF Draped Bust G$10.
Quote: Looking great! My favorites would have to be that seated half or the SLQ!
The seated half is just a killer in hand, lord knows why it didn't CAC.
@Kanga I made a quick tutorial. Sorry for the crappy mic quality, I had a very nice standalone microphone I used that died recently, and as I haven't really been needing to replace it yet haven't bothered.
