The surface of the coins have been treated to shimmer in the way a satin fabric might (see below), and very few were produced. I'm afraid your coin is the very common standard issue. These are so plentiful as to be had for a pound or so in uncirculated condition. Yours has evident wear and is damaged, so worth much less than a pound. Report this Post to the Staff
PaddyB Pillar of the Community United Kingdom 945 Posts	Posted 01/06/2021 11:56 am I can't see this being a satin finish and so will be "business" strike - the most common. It also has some wear as well as the damage around the rim. These are very common in the UK - whenever I buy a job lot of coins I get another handful of them. Typically I sell them at 50p each, although some dealers hold out for £1 or even £2. I think it would need to be in a lot better condition to make more. Sorry if this is a disappointment.
