1980 D Possible DDO Dmm DDR Unsure

I've been going through penny rolls Out of a $25 box. I've come across a few really cool coins. The one I am posting about right now is a 1980 D penny. It's hard to tell about the DD because of the either lamination or planchette? I'm unsure what this would be called or considered. I was trying to find some information on why it looks like this but haven't been able to so I wanted to ask the experts.

What type of error would it be considered for this penny to where it looks the way it does & can you confirm this is a DMM DDO DDR? Or can someone point me in the direction needed to research more on what this would be?
