Hi - I am trying to find any info I can on the coin. There is a huge bald spot & deep part on the hair. Thanks for your help!

to CCF. Could use a close up, but kinda looks like a Struck Through Grease issue. Neat looking coin.

Thanks for the welcome..still trying to figure this coin out....the rest of the hair is well embossed & detailed so from what I've read it doesn't appear to be grease struck error.... ugh, but am still learning

so now I need to investigate what is a gas bubble? a fella on a coin group said it looked like this. He said to measure the area & compare to a normal coin. The area is completely flat and not "bubbled" up, so not sure about this. You guys are a wealth of wisdom & am getting much more interested in coins because of this coin!!
