To CCF , Grease could be a factor . Savable but agree ,not much value .

Can't be Struck Through Grease. Why Not? Because the VDB is incuse, raised on the die. So it was more likely polished off the die.

I'm thinking aggressive polishing is the culprit.

WADR, I disagree with the polishing theory. It may not be a Greaser,but it is not a polishing issue either. But I am wrong 20% of the time soooo
