A friend showed me this recently, have read about issues with the 1965 SMS sets and thought some quick pics of it would be of interest on the forum. He asked me my thoughts on value I replied probably lots of interest, but not a substantial premium, advised him do not remove it from the set. Anyone seen such a Greaser in an intact set? Sorry about pics they were taken on the fly.
Individual asked "what can I get for it" my response " will give you 60 bucks max", that someone may pay more if left intact in cello and that I had no earthy idea of value other than list it on ebay auction and the market value would be revealed. Just crickets was all I heard. I have enough greasers already and on hindsight would now decline the purchase outright. Cool coin but to me not as cool as 2 one ounce ASE's in the stack.
