This coin has a rim raised to approximately double its height on each side, including curved phrases across the coin. More information on terminology, identification, or manufacturing process (liberty quarter or half...?) is greatly appreciated.

Given the photos posted, the coin looks like it has been 'spooned'. Search Google using the term 'spooned coin'. The coin also has the characteristics of a ' dryer coin'.
