Standardized-Error-Terminology/Value?-Walking-Half-Dollar

This coin has a rim raised to approximately double its height on each side, including curved phrases across the coin. More information on terminology, identification, or manufacturing process (liberty quarter or half...?) is greatly appreciated.

Thanks, all! Glad to see other enthused people over this :)

Given the photos posted, the coin looks like it has been 'spooned'. Search Google using the term 'spooned coin'. The coin also has the characteristics of a ' Dryer Coin'.

A teaser:

Your coin you showed us (the fuzzy very out-of-focus one) belongs in the "Classic" error section, not this "Modern" section. Good luck!

@reed, getting information on this coin (and subsequent ones that you post) is better served by being in a separate thread so I have split this off from your original thread.
