I am getting one, as to what I think the mintage will be? I don't think it will be a really low number, but also not large amount either, I am going with a mintage of 75K.

Do we know what the two coins will be? One each of old / new design? Both RP or only one? I couldn't guess on the mintage, but it would be good to know what coins are present to help narrow down the choices. It only says S- and W-minted items.

I don't think I'll be getting one, but I do like the idea. Great set to signal the end of one design and start of another, and reverse proof to boot!
I hope for everyone's sake that the mint uses a reasonably high mintage. 75k sounds good to me too

Quote: The mintage will be approximately connection to web server failed I hope not. Last nov really sucked bad. In any case, I hope my ASE enrollment with the mint includes these 2 as well. If so, then my order will be automatic 12 hours before the sale starts. So, I'll be watching closely early that morning to see if it goes through.

If this set becomes part of the enrollment then it will be a high mintage. I don't think it will be so I'll go with 100k.

I don't think it will be an enrollment either. At 75k it will be a sell out, I think at 100k it will be a sell out, maybe 200K we will have a few days but I'm expecting a free for all all when it goes for sale.

Silver will be too expensive by summer.

I voted other. Maybe wishful thinking, but I think the mint will realize the Morgan / Peace dollars will be a cash cow and will sell as many coins that cost them $25 for $80/each that they can. Demand for these (all the Morgan/Peace) are going to be through the roof. Any classic dollar with a mintage of 250K would be a rarity.

I went to check, just pure Silver sets (not including the 2 gold sets of 1997 and 2011), the US mint has released 4 silver eagle sets:
2006 20th Anniversary 3 coin set - Mintage of 248,875 2011 25th Anniversary 5 coins set - Mintage of 99,882 2012 S 75th Anniversary 2 coin set -Mintage of 224,981 2013 W 75th Anniversary 2 coin set - Mintage of 281,310
The lowest mintage must have been 100K and the highest 300K?
So my initial guess of 75K maybe low.
