2001 Lincoln Penny? Can Someone Give Me Some Knowledge.

I have this penny that looks to be either zinc or has wrong planchette It's bigger than the normal penny like that of the size of a nickel. Thanks in advance.oh and it the weight of a copper coated zinc penny.

All I can say is that's a horrible way to show your coins. As far as the coin goes the copper plating is wearing off exposing the zinc core

Just a Zinc Cent with environmental damage.reaction with moisture and dirt does it.

p.s. - never hold your coins like that. Lay them flat and photograph them from overhead.

If it's larger than a regular cent and has the copper plating removed,
then it is probably a Texas Cent.
No premium as this is a form of damage.
