Found this nickel in some change thought it was neat. But I'm guessing it was altered somehow.

Post strike damage--mechanically and/or intentionally generated. We've seen a number of similar instances lately--nickels, dimes, and quarters.

You know, I can't help but think that nickel is calling for somebody to paint it various bright colors that can be baked on. And then spend it.
