Hello everyone. My name is Nick I'm from United States. I'm currently new to collecting coins . I just received this 1934 Wheat penny and I'm wondering if someone could please give me their opinion and how I should go about get it checked. I'm fascinated by this newfound Hobby I have. Please look at my pictures and let me know if this is worth anything thank you

. We need close ups to really help you, but I am seeing a damaged cent worth 1¢. Please crop pics before posting. If you are seeing something special please tell us so we can help more.

Yes, better closer-in, high resolution photos needed. Given the images posted, all I see is a common, circulated Wheat cent with dings/hits and some possible environmentally-based crud on the obverse.

Larger pics would help, but it just looks like a damaged coin so far.

this is a common coin with a high mintage. although cool to find because of its age its only worth a couple cents. the coin exhibits what we call (ED) environmental damage from something that happened to it in its long life so it would grade VG/F details (ED)

Your coin is a common one and damaged/corroded. No need for more pictures, it's only worth about 3 cents.

GOOD LUCK!
