Hello again!
This is a George III half Penny, but I thought they started in 1770. But on this coin I can see the year 1741. Could anyone advise me how is that possible?
Best regards, Sofia.

Given the circulation wear and the fact that it was supposedly minted 19 years before the start of George III's reign, I'd tentatively call it a contemporary counterfeit.
On an other note, does that say "GRORGIVS?" Interesting piece.

Correct.
Heavily worn contemporary counterfeit of a 1770-1775 halfpenny. The errors were intentional.

It is a contemporary counterfeit - it is not listed in Coleman, and I do quite a bit of dealing in CCs, and have not yet seen this type - an interesting find!

Agreed, contemporary counterfeit and probably the most interesting coin you have posted so far @Sofia!

Value is tricky - there are collectors for these and the fact that it does not appear in the lists will count in its favour. Grade is not great, but few of them were high grade even when struck. (They were made ready-worn to disguise their forgery.)

Could you provide diameter and weight? For some reason it looks almost farthing sized to me, which would open up a whole new discussion.

Thank you all.
PaddyB: :)
I had lots of interesting finds lately bought from Auctions, but did not want to stress some of the Members with my questions. :)

That confirms halfpenny and counterfeit. The correct weight for GIII halfpennies is over 9g.
Interesting though as unlisted contemporary forgery. (Not for me - I don't collect these.)

Please crop photos before posting...thanks. We only need to see the coin not the background.

Ok, John1, I will. I still don't know how, but I will figure it out in the end. :)

If you get one of the free photo editing applications, it is very easy. I use Photoscape, which works fine on a Windows 10 laptop. There may be others to recommend for other platforms.
PM me if you want further guidance.
