I became interested in error coin hunting just recently, so please forgive my ignorance in things. That being said, I ran across a 1967 no mint mark Roosevelt dime that, to me, appears to be missing the clad. Would someone mind taking a look and tell me what you think?

First off, all the coins from 1965-1967 on the U.S. coinage, didn't have mintmarks on those years. The silver was being pull from circulation at this time, so in order to prevent a lot more coins being pulled for the collectors, they didn't put mintmarks on those years.

Second, on a coin missing a clad even a small area, will show a deep red in color like the copper color on the outside edge of the coin.

Note on this one, there is a weakness of the strike, because of the missing cladding.
