Hi, I don't usually search dimes but this one seems either doubled or deteriorated on the reverse. Any tips on what it is? I also think the mint mark on the obverse may be doubled, but there are no listings on variety vista. Anything helps, thanks in advance.

Full photos of the coin's obverse and reverse might tell a complete story. I'm thinking Die Deterioration Doubling may be in-play, but would need large, sharp images to be better informed. Thanks.

IMO it was struck with a late state die.
Describe it as if there were no picture.

Looks like DDD to me the way the doubling is flowing towards the rims.
In either case, it is not a variety, just what is known as worthless doubling.

Not much on DDR's on the dimes. They stopped in the early 70's and didn't show up again till 1989.
