Given the photos posted, it appears you have a common, heavily circulated '77 nickel--complete with a blizzard of nicks and dings, and some abrasion too. No mint/striking errors that I can discern.
To the CCF It is only an error if it happens during the striking of the coin and there is nothing unusual on your coin that could have happened at that time so it is just damage.
I agree with all of the above, your nickel has seen a lot of "wear & tear" in it's 44 years of life. Keep searching, we look forward to what else you'll find!
