RCarv Valued Member 200 Posts	Posted 04/28/2021 10:33 am I'm posting bc I saw this before on a 1970 cent.. I think I asked in a chat before and they said PMD.. This is identical to the 70.. it looks like Tape but not.. Also I posted a Nickle in this group with the same thin coat peeling up.. not same pattern tho. merclover Bedrock of the Community United States 10635 Posts	Posted 04/29/2021 02:02 am If it's not tape or other adhesive or something attached to the surface (you said it wasn't), it sounds as if there was a masking done for a chemical splash of some sort. While it's curious to figure out the cause, damage is damage, and in this case, post mint damage ( PMD). Report this Post to the Staff
