So lots of coins can have wear and others can have different materials. I guess I'm wondering if a coin weight is off which ones should be looked at and or dismissed since wear could play a factor in that. Thanks

I'm not sure I understand the question, but any year coin can be under or overweight. Slight variation is normal as long as the weight is within tolerance. Planchet stock can be either thick or thin causing weight to be off.

Well there a tolerance of +/- on them:

I never weight them. Never seen a need for it. I wouldn't pay more for an off weight coin.
