they appear to be numerous die chips but it seems like all upper serifs are affected which is an odd pattern, closer pics would definitely be nice
3)struck through grease- grease, metal shavings and other gunk build up on the mint presses and it can fill sometimes fill some of the detail on the die, causing weak detail or even details completely missing- common
4)die gouge and a very nice one
a tool or something else hard made contact with the surface of a die creating a long linear mark, it is interesting that it has perfectly speared the poor Queen's neck
