While searching coin rolls, I came across a few coins that have "defects". Would these be considered errors or variation types. Are they common? Do they have a collectible value? Being a newbie to coin collecting, I'd appreciate any help from the members of this forum.

The first pic is of a die chip (?) in the letter "A" of CANADA on a 1952-2002 cent.
The second pic is of streams of metal from the word Canada on a 2001 dime.
The third pic is of a weak strike (?) of the word "CENTS" on a 2008 dime.
The fourth pic is of a raised line behind the Queen on a 2000 cent.

I like the last one...that's an interesting die gouge!
The first 3 look like die chip, extreme die wear, and possibly a filled die.

1)small die chip- common
2)not quite sure they appear to be numerous die chips but it seems like all upper serifs are affected which is an odd pattern, closer pics would definitely be nice
3)struck through grease- grease, metal shavings and other gunk build up on the mint presses and it can fill sometimes fill some of the detail on the die, causing weak detail or even details completely missing- common
4)die gouge and a very nice one a tool or something else hard made contact with the surface of a die creating a long linear mark, it is interesting that it has perfectly speared the poor Queen's neck not common(smaller ones are more common than large ones like this)

2001 canada 10 cent volunteer dime > I've picked up a couple of these "exact" coins in my change.(one also has a peeling or flaking effect) wonder how many are out there?

I now have 3 of these, and I call them 2001 10 cent "attached Canada". lol

I'm not sure that the first is a die chip. It looks like it is a small piece of copper broken off either from this coin or another and squashed back onto the surface over everything. You should be able to tell in-hand.
