I am just about dying from admiration and jealousy - those are just incredible! Jvrnz - you know someone on Trademe is trying to sell a £20 note for like $5k or something!
The fact you even have any banknotes of King George VI from Fiji is amazing, having nearly every single one up to the £5 is amazing. That collection is museum worthy and really makes the whole thread just a completists dream as I cover all the common and el cheapo stuff, you add the cream.

with "Princetane." Those pre-decimal sets are just mind-blowing! I had no idea that King George VI portrait was at a 1/4 turn & then faces straight on from 1941 onwards on the £1. I rarely see the Georgies come up for auction (let alone the QEII pre-decimal notes). The colours & designs are very attractive. No wonder they're so popular. Thanks for sharing.

Quote: I am also referee for Fijan coins over on Numista now Hey Princetane, quick question: Haven't all of the old Fiji 50 cent coins that are the same weight and dimensions as the Australian 50 cent been demonetised? Numista only says that the Arnold Machin coins have been demonetized (not the Raphael Maklouf ones) This came to our attention when triggersmob used a 1983 Fiji 50 cent in the latest round of 20 questions forum game.
