The game itself "handball"

Looks and played like this.
in all honesty it's a terrible design and they could of done better.
I have no idea what the orientation is that they used for it. it's pictured both ways but the writing makes sense with the center line horizontal, not vertical. I can understand why they wanted the center line vertical because of the game itself, I don't have physical examples to check though.

No idea why they put "player 1" on it that's just plain old stupid. the design is stupid in my personal opinion, I like the idea behind it, I just really dislike the execution of it. they have both sprites on the same side and no dividing line and also a tiny ball blip that looks like a contact mark, and what was the dividing line even for except to seclude "Player 1 and New Hampshire" from the game part, it certainly isn't the center line of the game itself.
They phoned that one in. horrible in my opinion.
Maybe, and just MAYBE, they did the rotation that way to make it appear more like a game token than a coin, for game token sake, so it wouldn't coin or medal flip correctly. It's a long shot but maybe done on purpose as part of the overall nonsensical design?
Again though I don't have one in hand to know for sure what orientation they actually have.
