Question About The V75 Mark On 2020 W US Quarters

TNG Bedrock of the Community United States 10280 Posts	Posted 08/27/2021 09:48 am I was at the coin club meeting last night and a member had one of these W mintmark quarters. As I was holding it, I turned to my wife and pointed out the V75 mark on the left side of the obverse. I told her to keep a lookout for that V75 mark because it is an easy way to spot a W mintmark quarter. (I don't have any yet but do have a jar full of quarters saved up) Anyway, the owner, overhearing me, promptly corrected me and said all the 2020 circulating quarters P D & W have V75 stamped on them. I did not argue, just said "I didn't know that!" but I think I was right. So I thought I'd post this for simple clarification on the mark. Thanks! My favorite album! Image hosting is provided by CCF. Tunnioc Pillar of the Community United States 2439 Posts	Posted 08/27/2021 10:17 am The P D and S mint quarters do not have the V75 privy. There are 5 different 2020 W quarters that have the V75 privy. The 5 different 2019 W quarters do not have the privy. So if you only look for the privy, you may miss the 2019 W quarters. Maybe he meant to say that the 2019-W don't have it?
