So here is another 1929 P DDR-001 that matches the VV site example. The upturned middle bar on the "E" is a real die state. Doesn't look like the DDR on CopperCoins for Wexler's.

Not a match at all. Not a DDR. Look at the dots. They always tell the story.

@sheldius, Your photos are fantastic. What are you using to capture the closeup pics and to process the side-by-sides for uploading?

I'm using an iPhone for whole-coin shots and a Celestron USB digital microscope and Paint.net for close-ups, but haven't done the side-by-sides.

Tough call when the circulation damage is present. Check for markers if you can find an exact match for the hub doubling. Note that all the devices are not as wide as the DDR? Note on the 'RIB' image? The 'I' is not as wide as the DDR.

FortCollins - Thank you. I use a USB OScope. I had to look into the USB camera setting and turn off the Low Light Compensation. I then can add external light to take the whole coin shots with the USB at the top of the stand.

I also removed the plastic ring that diffused the LED, but also keep me from getting as close as I wanted. It works for the moment.
I'll see if I can match anything to the previous 1929 P and the variety vista images.

I use photoshop to do the side by sides. Trying to learn from COOP. A work in progress. LOL.

If I have this right, your coin is the tinted green coin. It doesn't match the pink coin from v.v. Look at the dots. Like I said before, the dots never lie. Your coin shows circulation damage.

Closeups don't always show the elongation of the dots as well as the full reverse shot.

The full reverse shows the thickness on the "U's" as well as the elongation on the dots. I've had issues with lighting affecting the perception of some details.
