Hello everyone. I'm new to connecting coins and have a few pics of some 1970's Lincoln pennies and dimes I would like to learn a lil more about. Like if they would be worth anything or worth the time of having them graded. Thank you in advance for your time. Also, I'm from Bedford, va.

Bring on the photos! Large and sharp--obverse and reverse. Thanks.

Some kind of extra piece of metal near the mint mark. Not sure what type of error this is called.

A lamination it could be.

What is a lamination? Part of another coin/blank? It looks as if its extra metal pressed into the fields below the mint mark. But smooth metal.

Could be a Die Chip but we will need a clear closeup of that area
Whatever it is , it wouldn't add any great value to the coin.

Please crop your photos to the edges of your coin, and please give us a closeup or two of what you see of interest. Thanks.
